  • WHAT IS THE CENTRE FOR CAREER INNOVATION?

    The Centre for Career Innovation is a training hub that provides future-focused courses, assessments and tools to build career resilience and leadership capacity. The Centre for Career Innovation, powered by Challenge Factory, is a dynamic platform that serves a community of the highest caliber of entrepreneurs, executives, leaders and professionals who want to be part of a community that shapes the future of work.

  • WHO ELSE IS ALREADY LEARNING IN THE CENTRE FOR CAREER INNOVATION?

    Many sectors and professionals at all levels, from front-line staff to C-Suite teams are working through programs in the centre. For some the experience is a single workshop or webinar. Others have created a customized learning path of micro-learning and experience 10 minutes of focused content on key topics, available just-in-time. The majority sign on for a series of courses, called a learning path, that ensures organizational and personal career objectives are met.   • HOW CAN THESE COURSES SUPPORT LARGER, ORGANIZATIONAL, STRATEGIC INITIATIVE?

  • CAN I RECEIVE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CREDITS OR TAX BENEFITS FOR ANY OF YOUR PROGRAMS?

    Many of our courses and other services for leaders and managers have been approved for professional development credits from HRPA. We are in the process of becoming certified with other organizations. If you belong to a professional organization and would like us to explore having credits be recognized with your association, please let us know. Our training courses are not eligible for any tax benefits.

  • CAN THE COURSES AND LEARNING PATHS OFFERED IN THE CENTRE BE OFFERED INSIDE MY COMPANY OR CUSTOMIZED FOR A DEDICATED GROUP?

    Yes – we can build a session just for you at your location or ours. Pricing and course topics will be customized to meet your needs.

  • WHY DO YOU HAVE COURSES DEDICATED TO WORK WITH THE MILITARY AND THE VETERANS?

    We spent 11 months in discussions, observing and listening to providers and Veterans about the transition programs that exist for retiring personnel and believe that our approach,that has been proven to be successful with retiring corporate professionals, will assist retiring military personnel. Making a successful career transition requires that the participant address specific identity-related challenges. After decades of service in either civilian employment or in the military, participants define who they are based on where they have worked. We believe that this common element will assist in breaking down assumptions and stereotypes, facilitate new types of conversations about talents and skills and encourage all participants to find SweetSpot careers that are meaningful and make an impact. This program also provides the corporate participants with the opportunity to learn more about our armed services personnel and be of service to the Veteran participants who need help establishing civilian networks and an understanding of civilian workplace culture and language.
